July 4th Sonic Youth with The Feelies show —FREE!!!

The River to River festival has announced that there are a limited number of tickets for the & Feelies show this Friday 7/4/08. This is a FREE, Ticketed Event. So tickets are required, but you can get them if you get down to nice and early on the 4th. The show “starts” at 3:30 in the afternoon so again, get there reeeaaallll early if you want to score tickets the day of the show. Limit 2 per person.

According to the attached link from AMNY Newspaper will performing live for in Central part on Saturday, July 12th 2008. This is going to make an already crowded NYC just a bit more so. The concert is apparently being hyped in conjunction with the buildup to ’s () All Star Game, which is to take place in this year on July 15th, 2008. The article does not mention which area of central park, but my expectations are that he perform on the Great Lawn, much like , , Simon & , and have (to name a few).
